First Lace Project

I finished the Swallowtail Shawl last year but never get the pics of it. I loved this project. It was a great pattern for a first lace project. I used Malabrigo laceweight and it was wonderful to knit with.

Here's Jackson with my dad wearing the Lillelam sweater from Dale of Norway. I grew weary and didn't make the sleeves, so it's a vest. Nice because it fit Jack for a full year!

Brotherly love

Yes, I spoil my brother in hand knits. Why is he so fun to knit for? The love of skullies is one thing! Here he is modeling a few year's worth of holiday gifts, including last year's scarf.

Err, I made this for Rob for Christmas last year. So my blog is officially 8 months behind. Sorry!

This is the "Great Excuse Scarf" from Hyphen Boy. (I got my pattern from onefineyarn.com) Loved it! I used silky wool from Elsebeth Lavold and Rob's favorite color combination - Blue and Orange (gold really, but close enough). He looks fantastic in it, doesn't he?
